Welcome! This website features the various writings of Pulitzer Prize contending author, Jackie Hadley Hemingway.

Jackie is currently about halfway through writing herthird novel in the Lady In Red series, Lady Misled. She hopes to have the book ready for publication by early spring 2026. It will be available in paperback and e-book formats on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble bookstores.

Both of Jackie’s novels, Lady In Red and Lady Instead were contending novels for fiction for the 2022 and 2023 Pulitzer Prize respectively, though they did not win. Regardless, it was an honor just to be considered and a part of the process.

After Jackie completes her Lady in Red series of books she will be tackling the biggest writing project of her lifetime. She will be writing a sequel to Ernest Hemingway’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel, The Sun Also Rises.

Jackie is an avid supporter and advocate for mental health and counseling. Dealing with struggles during her own life, she has found the life-saving benefits that counseling can bring and encourages anyone who may be dealing with any issue to seek help.
