Welcome! This website features the various writings of Pulitzer Prize contending author, Jacqueline “Jackie” Hemingway.

Jackie has begun sketching out ideas for her next novel, Lady Misled, which will be available in the Amazon bookstore as soon as it is ready. Check back for release date.

Jackie’s first and second novel in the Lady series, Lady In Red and Lady Instead, are both available on Amazon, in paperback only.

Jackie is a firm believer in the science behind “haptic dissonance” which believes that people will enjoy, remember and will be able to discuss works that are read in physical form (paperback books) rather than in any digital format. She has proven this true using friends of hers in which half read her books on digital platforms, the other half read with physical paperback books. Overwhelmingly, those who read with the physical book retained that information far better than those who read on a digital platform. It is for this reason that she only allows her books to be published in paperback versions.

Lady In Red was a contending novel for fiction for the 2022 Pulitzer Prize, though it did not advance to the final round.
